“Thank you Roanna for helping me through a difficult bereavement and to deal with the anger issues arising from that.
For me hypnotherapy was a relaxing and gentle approach to dealing with the way I felt, rather than the more direct approach of counselling.

Due to lock down my consultations were via zoom which had the added advantage that I could just fall asleep at the end of each session, usually for about an hour, having that untroubled, relaxed sleep helped me more than I realised at the time.

Although the sadness and anger hasn't gone away completely, the therapy has helped me immensely, I can now recognise the triggers and so manage the way I react, enabling me to return to a calm state much quicker.

The added support of meditation recordings was a huge help between consultations.
I am happy to recommend you and hypnotherapy to friends and family.

Lisa’s Story

Lisa would stifle her emotions or drive through a secluded countryside, day or night, with her music blasting in order to escape herself. For some people a drive like this would help, however, for Lisa it felt as though the road was never-ending; often resulting in her having no recollection of the journey at all. Nevertheless, a light materialized at the end of the road when she discovered My Relaxation Coach.

Through Gentle Healing Yoga, Roanna welcomed Lisa into a relaxing and safe place for her to heal, ‘Ro’s ability to know what I need amazes me and always leaves me in awe.’ All the remarkable tools that Ro provided, from guided meditation to the practice of asanas has unlocked a path for Lisa to handle her emotions in a healthy way; such as using the practice of pranayama to allow her to reach a place of serenity when feeling anxious. Thanks to Roanna, Lisa is finally able to arrive at her end destination.

Doreen’s Story

“I have been helped by Roanna for the last eighteen months. I was suffering from very severe depression. I had been treated by a physiologist but there was not a very good relationship between the two of us. I was recommended by my friend that she was being helped by Roanna. I rang Ro and she immediately made an appointment, I had a few sessions and immediately began to feel better, Ro is so welcoming and relaxing. Since the COVID-19 I started feeling in a very low and depressed state, she immediately made an appointment. After a few sessions, Ro suggested that I try hypnotherapy, at first it was very relaxing, but then I found that I was actually missing part of what she was saying but she explained that my mind was still responding to what she was saying.

Just after Christmas, I started feeling better and wanting to do things (which I had not wanted to do for a year). I am now fully recovered and enjoying a very full and enjoyable life, all thanks to my friend ROANNA.
