Gentle Healing Yoga  includes a traditional style of teaching. It is an old system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), and mediation, which help bring peace to the mind and body. As a senior yoga teacher trainer I use yoga as a modality to heal, energise and strengthen.

This class is a wonderful way to re introduce you to your yoga practice or if you enjoy learning with depth and understanding. As a life coach and lover of yogic philosophy your class experience will lovingly include hands on therapeutic adjustments, prescriptive poses to meet your needs, bolsters, pillows, blankets, props, poems, tasty treats, aromatherapy, in class massage to hands, head and/or feet, handouts and hugs.

I am a teacher with a wealth of experience and a love of people. As a relaxation specialist I am passionate about creating a healing environment for you to relax and be yourself.

I am qualified to teach a wide range of yoga styles but am currently focusing on yoga as a therapy to reduce stress and bring about healing and peace within each class.

Class fee’s 10 class pass £110, 5 class pass £62.50, single class pass £15

All services and appointments must be scheduled and booked individually. I am working to improve this feature but in the meantime grab a cuppa and fill your diary up with the good stuff. All appointments must be paid in full with a 48 hour cancellation policy.

1-1 Yoga Tuition in person and online

Yoga is more than just exercise, it is a transformative practice that creates wellbeing.  1-2-1 yoga is an ideal way to experience the benefits of yoga. private, couple or group tailor-made tuition to suit your level, your intentions and your timetable. At the top and the bottom of the page is our online appointments calendar so you easily book in your appointment after paying for your session. Yoga encourages a sense of dedication and commitment to all that you desire for yourself. Self care and regular nourishment is the only way to build strong yoga foundations.


1. New to yoga
New students often feel overwhelmed in a group class, and can benefit immensely from receiving an instructor’s complete attention. Working one to one will help you develop a clear understanding of the yoga poses and breathing techniques,  rather than getting lost when the speed of a group class is too much.

2. Increase strength, and flexibility
Ro will select poses which are appropriate to your needs and experience, so that you develop a safe, intelligent and nourishing practice. The private tuition helps curb our natural tendency to push towards reaching the full expression of a pose, when this may not yet be appropriate, and may put you at risk of injury, or discomfort.  Working 1:1 Ro will be right beside you, helping you to balance your ambitions with your experience and abilities, offering assistance and gentle guidance as your skills develop.

3. Busy schedules
One to one  yoga classes conveniently fit your schedule. Many people are just too busy to get in the car or on public transport and then practice yoga for an hour (or more) at the studio, then travel back home again … that leaves you anything but relaxed. Ro can schedule your sessions at a time that is convenient for you and design a class specifically for you.

4. Your needs come first
Private yoga classes are customised to fit your specific needs, focusing on therapeutic benefits for injuries, restorative benefits for stress or emotional situations, and helping you work towards specific goals.
